COP29 Debrief: What’s next for the private sector?

Overview

The Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is an annual international summit where world leaders and key stakeholders convene to address and develop solutions to combat climate change.

This year, COP29 is taking place from 11–22 November in Baku, Azerbaijan —a critical moment for uniting the world around actionable climate commitments.

Join us on 26 November at 9:30 a.m. ET for an interactive live session, hosted by the UN Global Compact Academy and in partnership with UNFCCC, to unpack the outcomes of COP29.

In this 60-minute debrief session, you will hear from senior advisers from across the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Action Team and UNFCCC, who will provide insights on key headlines from COP29 and outline corporate priorities for accelerating progress in 2025.
