Hosted by the Global Compact China Network, the 2015 annual China Summit on Caring for Climate will focus on effective and innovative actions taken by companies in China, local governments and other stakeholders in addressing climate change in areas ranging from carbon pricing, water, green technology, green finance, and low-carbon development in specific industrial sectors. The Summit will convene national and local government authorities, business executives from China and abroad, financial institutions, and leaders from the UN, civil society and media. It will provide a platform for dialogue, exchanges and the showcasing of best practices and solutions, as well as opportunities for collective action around climate and environment-related challenges.
