On the margins of the 2019 Tokyo International Conference on African Development, the United Nations Global Compact and the Global Compact Network Japan will hold a Japan-Africa Roundtable to discuss the critical role that the private sector can play alongside Governments to advance the 2030 Agenda and the African Union's Agenda 2063, in alignment with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.

Participants are invited to share their experiences with an audience of leaders from business, civil society, academia, government and the United Nations on how business can support Japan-Africa cooperation in pursuit of development objectives to achieve “The World We Want”.
