    On June 10, 2020, Ahava Group Global, released an exclusive letter to their clients, affiliates and partners expressing their concern about anti-blackness, racism and the acts of violence against African-Americans. At Ahava Group Global, we committed to being a part of the change we want to see in the world by starting our ongoing commitment for change, along with select clients, partners and affiliates Ahava Digital Group pledged to donate $1M dollars to support initiatives, small businesses and organizations within the Black community globally by 2030.

    Shortly after pledging that donation, parent company Ahava Group Global, decided on July 20, 2020, along with over 200 other Canadian companies to sign the inaugural pledge with the BlackNorth Initiative that committed their organizations to measurable initiatives to dismantle anti-Black systemic racism in Canada.

    Our parent company, Ahava Group Global (AGG) partnership with the United Nations Global Compact Network continues to hold AGG accountable to uphold our commitment to diversity and inclusion. As AGG has grown, the leadership has been cognizant of inclusivity on all fronts. To give some insight into this organization, it is a women-led company with over 517 employees across the globe. AGG can proudly say 65% of our employees are women from all ethnic backgrounds. Over 50% of the women on our team are women of colour and of that, 25% are Black. Three out of five of those team members are the heads of their department.

    The Janét Aizenstros Foundation partnership with the University of Waterloo and the University of Guelph has made Janét, the first Black woman to establish the ‘first woman in engineering fund’ at the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship & Business at the University of Waterloo Engineering program and the first Black woman to establish the Janét Aizenstros Social Impact and Sustainability Scholarship at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics program at the University of Guelph. The scholarship programs took over 4 years to develop with the University of Waterloo onboarding 2 candidates who have already awarded the scholarships.

    Her 100-years legacy initiative through Ahava Holdings & Ventures is the first impact fund in Canada led by a Black woman that focuses on women entrepreneurs creating social impact through technology.

    In 2019, Ahava Holdings & Ventures partnered with Global Wealth Strategies to oversee a transaction with an ambassador in Asia that acquired the Ahava Holdings & Ventures data concierge technology to help stimulate economic growth in underdeveloped countries throughout Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Collectively, this partnership worked with a branch of the U.S. government to ensure data privacy standards were achieved. The ambassador used the data concierge to stimulate economic growth which gave over 4000 call centers in those regions the ability to leverage the American consumers in varied sectors while also producing over 50000 jobs in those regions.
