The ADAMPOL SA company joined the international Global Compact organization in 2010, and undertook to respect all ten principles of human rights, environmental protection and work standards. This philosophy of responsible business is constantly present at all levels of ADAMPOL’s operations. Indeed, from its very beginnings, the company has strived to implement the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility. This special aspect of our business activity is constantly being developed and has undergone many changes which have brought many positive results to various spheres of life. The most crucial aspect for us, as a company, is the establishment of new trading relations where ADAMPOL SA is not just a transport company for its stakeholders: we wish to be a partner who understands the needs of its stakeholders and assists them in every way to their satisfaction.
In the existing business world, business behavioral ethics, as well as a proper approach to the market environment in its broadest sense, are of key importance. In our opinion, these are the main reasons why responsible business management is promoted as one of the more important tasks for a modern company.
Not only are companies becoming more aware of the need to run a socially responsible business and, in turn, more aware of the benefits that can be achieved, but society expects companies to have a high level of environmental and social awareness. A uniform understanding of the social responsibilities and the development of coherent mechanisms of cooperation in finding solutions to social problems allow for the introduction of effective strategies which bring mutual benefits. Establishing responsible partner relations with the environment is one of the most important ways to gain advantage over competitors.
Consumption of energy and other raw materials, pollution and the devastation of the natural environment, social problems – these are only a few of the phenomena which are a direct cause of modifying the corporate social responsibility concept. We believe that in today’s world, the social aim of each company should be social awareness and responsiveness to these issues, and not just the sharing of one’s assets and bearing liability.
This report is the outcome of a huge input and involvement of all ADAMPOL SA employees. Its aim includes putting the current social involvement activities in order, as well as the wish to remind everyone that each company operates not only in a typical business environment but also in very significant social surroundings. This is the first review of social involvement activities completed by ADAMPOL SA between 2007 and 2010.We encourage you to take a closer look at the report.

Based on its long-standing experience, ADAMPOL SA guarantees its customers complex solutions in the field of international and domestic transport of vehicles. The company uses the following means of transport: road, rail, sea and intermodal (road and rail) transport. As the issue of climate change has become one of the most important issues at both local and international level, all employees of the company try to act in a responsible way to protect the natural environment.
Environmentally friendly services have been added to the company's business offers and state-of-the-art technologies are used to limit pollution and to reduce waste production. Route optimization schemes are implemented on a continuous basis, emphasising the most effective use of auto transporters to limit fuel usage and exhaust emissions.
ADAMPOL SA offers the potential for complex execution of transport assignments of any type. In recent years, the Management Board has realized a long-term plan of extending and modernizing the company's fleet of trucks, as modifying the existing fleet to ecological requirements, which are binding in Europe, was a priority. This was achieved by purchasing MAN auto transporters with LOHR and ADAMPOL 01 trailers. The company purchased 10 MAN chassis in 2009, and, using its own human and technical resources, manufactured ADAMPOL A01 trailers in line with approval certificate no. PL*3742*00. Due to this initiative, the company's auto transporters are less harmful to the environment, and the company generates less costs. The new fleet meets the requirements concerning noise and exhaust fume emissions in line with: UNECE R51.02, Directive no. 70/157/EEC, and Directive no. 199/101/EC. ESC and ELR tests are performed to check the levels of exhaust fume emissions, and are carried out in line with UNECE R49.03, level B1. In 2010, 3 new auto transporters were added to the company’s fleet of trucks.
The company has its own repair shops and maintains the modernized fleet of auto transporters to ensure that EU requirements are met. The implemented quality management systems, that are based on the highest European standards, guarantee efficient management. All the auto transporters of the company are equipped with mobile telephones and GPS satellite monitoring systems. This allows for permanent monitoring of the trucks' locations, thanks to which the entire fleet may be used efficiently and safely.
