  • We are pleased to confirm our continual supports towards the Global Compact principles in areas of Human Rights, Labour Standards, Environment Protections, as well as Anti-Corruption Practices.

    Amtek recognises these principles as prime considerations and integral parts of our Company’s operations, and is committed to continuously improve the practices in the areas.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • In the Human Resource Mission, which is part of the Company's Human Resource Policies, emphasis of equal opportunities, fair and equitable treatments are clearly expressed.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • The Human Resource Policies are practised in all our plants, and the Company's HR Department adopts an opened door concept for feedbacks on grievances, if any. The channels for such feedbacks include walk-in, emails, suggestion boxes and calls.

  • Measurement of outcomes

  • The Company shall take every feedback seriously, investigate and take necessary actions as appropriate.

Labour

  • In the Human Resource Mission, which is part of the Company's Human Resource Policies, emphasis of equal opportunities, fair and equitable treatments are clearly expressed. Maintaining good labour relationship was also identified as one of the key objectives.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions taken by the company to implement labour policies, address labour risks and respond to labour violations.

  • The company has clear policies against discrimination and on the employment of children and young person. Benefits and compensation rights are also clearly made known to the employees. In addition, the Company adheres strictly to relevant labour legislation of the countries in which our plants are operating.

  • All our Plants HR, under the directions from the Corporate HR will ensure that fair labour practices are carried out.

Environment

  • The Company has a written policy in environment management and is committed to conserve and protect the environment through various efforts in pollution control, managing resources and reducing our carbon footprints.

  • Description of concrete actions to implement environmental policies, address environmental risks and respond to environmental incidents.

  • The Company constantly develops programmes in environment protections and energy conservations, and had work with the local research body to acquire product carbon footprint monitoring capabilities

  • Measurement of outcomes

  • The Company monitors the environmental performance via monitoring of the various programme outcomes.

Anti-Corruption
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of anti-corruption for the company (i.e. anti-corruption risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on anti-corruption.

  • The Company has strict rules against corruptions.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement anti-corruption policies, address anti-corruption risks and respond to incidents.

  • The Company take serious views of any corrupted practices and will take strict disciplinary actions against violators.

  • Any corrupted practices when detected, would be reported to the plant management, as well as the Corporate HR.
