    To our stakeholders:

    I am pleased to confirm that Wentelon Micro-Motor Co.,Ltd reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals

  • 1.We respects any and all employees as individuals and treats them fairly depending on their abilities and performance.

    2.All employees get a fair chance and are rewarded based on their performance. An employee who feels discriminated against may ask for help from the Help Center, the labor union.

    3.We conduct the human right training programs to allow employees from diverse cultural and social backgrounds to mutually understand other’s cultures and respect diversity.

    4. We respect female resources and actively hire female talents by creating a female-friendly work environment and providing institutional supports such as maternal leave.

  • 1.We support the UN Declaration of Human Rights and the international treaties for protecting employee’s rights. We respect for the principles of human rights of the International Labor Organization : freedom of association, prohibition of forced labor, prohibition of discrimination, and prohibition of child labor.

    2.we prohibit unfair discrimination for reasons of gender, academic ability, age, nationality, religion, or region of origin to provide equal opportunities of promotion, reward, and training. .

Labour

  • 1. Prohibition of Child Labor and Forced Labor

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions taken by the company to implement labour policies, address labour risks and respond to labour violations.

  • 1. We prohibit labor by children under 16 years old and limit the employment of adolescents who are in school by complying with the UN Global Compact principles and the Labor Standard Act.

    2.We pay attention to prevent child from even unintentionally occurring by reviewing documents which may verify the identities of employees.

    3.Forced labor against employee’s will are also strictly prohibited.

  • 1.Our company working hours are 8 hours a day and 48 hours a week, without forcing night duty and holiday work. If necessary, we pay overtime work allowance for overtime work performed with prior consent.

    2.We provide employees with opportunities for improving their abilities fairly and not differentiate between them depending on academic background, gender, age, or birthplace.

    3.We establish systems required for employees to make suggestions and to express difficulties freely.

    4.We take safety measures required in places of work where there are hazardous or harmful objects.

Environment

  • We have realized the importance about a green working environment and green product. We will improve it in a more effective and efficient way by strengthening cooperation with stakeholders and supply chain.

  • Implementation

  • 1. Enhanced response to climate change, eco-friendly workplaces and conducted resource saving activities and reduced pollutants.

    2. Expanded evaluation of green supply chain to suppliers to which regulations on hazardous substances are applied.

    3.Participated in the Green Environment activities.

  • 1.We have strengthened product regulations (REACH, RoHS) and increased in demand for green products.

    2.We have established a green management strategy and built a training system on environment.

    3.We have croped trees and flowers around our factrory, increase the green area to improve the neigborhood air and working environment quality.

    4.We have improved on-site problems through voluntary safety checks every month. The hazard detection exercise is carried out by involving all employees on the hottest and coldest days of the year, when safety awareness might fall to its lowest. We also conduct a safety checks for all equipment at sites and improve detected risks. In 2013, we found out and improved 25 risks.

Anti-Corruption

  • 1.We oppose financial crime in all forms and ensure that all of our business is carried out effectively, safely and in line with relevant regulations.

    2.We advanced anti-corruption work by strengthening institution-building.

    3.We formulated a provisional means of investigating parties responsible for credit extensions issued against regulations.

  • 1.We have staged a year-long campaign to improve the work style, tighten joint supervision, advance integrity inspection for those in risk posts and seriously handle public inquiries.

    2.We have offered employees quarterly training programs on combatting corruption and advocating honesty,

    3.We have distributed an informative manual on preventing conflicts of interest and raised employees' awareness of guarding against conflicts of interest.
