I am pleased to confirm that United Family Food reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Unifam goals is to influence that our employees and all our business partners respect the human rights and environmental protection. Based on our commitment we have set up a Code of Conduct and Management Commitment Policy. Our code of conduct complies with Social Audit and Workplace Condition Assessment (WCA).

We have published and actively informed all our supplies, partners and employees of our commitment and encouraged them to commit as well. We provide suggestion box in each location for employees to submit their issues with regards to unfair treatment.

Unifam support the UNGC principles on labour standards in addition to following local laws on labour rights.The principles have been included in our Code of Conduct and Management Commitment Policy comply with Social Audit and Workplace Condition Assessment (WCA). Unifam company regulation covers policies concerning our employees right, compensation and responsibilities.

Based on our Code of Conduct and labour law, UNIFAM implements labor practices by making sure that there is a decent and pleasant work environment, that employee potential is fully realized, that industrial relations are harmonious, that every employee is safe and healthy, and, most importantly, that diversity and human rights are upheld in the workplace and that everyone has an equal chance to succeed.

We have a 100% compliance on approved working contracts. We have decrease in working related injuries year by year to meet zero accidents. Our demographic of management and employees showing increment in diversity.

Unifam strives to minimise the environmental impact of our activities. Operating activities have an influence on environmental management, including water quality, emissions, and waste treatment, as a company in the food and beverage sector. Therefore, we consistently conduct regular management to manufacture products that are safer and cleaner.
As a standard that integrates and balances business interests with the environment, UNIFAM has also established an Environmental Management System (EMS) under ISO 14001:2015.
We consistently make activities aimed to improving the energy efficiency in manufacturing process. UNIFAM can do electricity efficiency of 30 MW in a year.
We strive to be innovative when it comes to environmental friendly products and services.

Unifam support the UNGC principles on anti-corruption. The principles have been included in our Code of Conduct and Management Commitment Policy. We work strongly against corruption in all forms, including extortion and bribery.
