    I am pleased to confirm that Heliox Group BV reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • • Heliox published the Human rights policy on her website (https://www.heliox-energy.com/compliance-policies) to show commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international standards.
    • Scope of this policy is Heliox employees and all business partners (contractors, suppliers etc)
    • Currently a Human Rights Due diligence process is ongoing to asses related risks and impact in our sector.
    • Specific goals for 2022/2023 is setting up a companywide Conflict Mineral Reporting for Heliox
    • The objective for the coming years is to get all the suppliers signing the Policies and Suppliers Code of Conduct.

  • Implementation

  • • Training is given to employees on the Human rights policy and Compliance policy to create awareness.
    • Human resource policies and procedures supporting Human Rights implemented.

Labour

  • • Previous mentioned compliance policy is also based on the ILO Core Conventions.
    • This policy upholds the freedom of association, collective bargaining, elimination of forced labour, child labour and employee discrimination.
    • Written policies are available that clearly state employees rights and responsibilities and their compensation and benefits.
    • Assessment of labour-related risks in the industry sector and country(ies) of operations (RI&E).

Environment

  • • Sustainability roadmap is developed and approved in 2022 containing monitoring and reducing absolute GHG emissions Scope 1 and 2 with 60% in 2030.
    • Objective set for main assemblers to reach GHG reduction with 40%.
    • Objective set for recycling EoL products.
    • Environmental policies for supply chain are part of the compliance policies.

  • Implementation

  • • Learning session on sustainability roadmap is initiated
    • Project started to create a recycling program for old chargers
    • Monitoring system to monitor GHG emissions identified
    • Process started to identify/appoint Responsible manager per roadmap objective

  • • ISO 14001certification has been achieved.
    • 2022 is the base year of the measurement Baseline for GHG emissions has been established
    • Senior management has signed being accountable for the objectives in the roadmap.

Anti-Corruption

  • • A clear policy (https://tinyurl.com/2wpa6sxh) has been developed that stipulates our behaviour on the subject of doing business. This Policy clearly states the expectations for how Heliox operates and applies to all Heliox companies. Besides, this Policy applies to all Heliox-employees, consultants, (sub)contractors, temporary staff, (higher) management and the board of directors.
    • This anti-corruption policy is together with the Heliox competition policy in line with the UN Convention against corruption

    • Every employee is obligated to inform legal department on any possible non-compliant acts.
