    I am pleased to confirm that Syrian Medical Services- LLC, reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • Our company believes that the Human rights are basic rights and freedoms that protect us all. They are based on dignity, fairness, equality and respect. So we works to preserve human rights and this is reflected in the way we deal with employees and the laws in the company, we do all of this Reference to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and international standards

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • - Ensure a safe, suitable and healthy work environment for employees
    - Preserving the rights of employees, and protecting them from any possible harm that might
    affect them in the workplace, whether physical or psychological.
    - The employees receive Salary sufficient to secure a good standard of living for them
    - The number of working hours is acceptable with the possibility of the employee obtaining paid
    Vacations complying the legal laws as well
    - There is no discrimination between the employees, whether it is on their gender, religion, race, language
    - We work on the principle of distributing roles and participatory decision-making to support the principle of freedom of opinion and opinions
    - The company do not provide the personal information of employees and clients to anyone else

Labour

  • We always strive to implement labor laws that are in line with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, which work to raise the standard of work and always obtain better results, Starting from the principle of rewarding opportunities, giving appropriate salaries and incentives, and creating a work environment that helps employees to show their best and develop their expertise and knowledge

    - The company respects the principle of exchanging opinions to reach a better solution and move away from the policy of forced labor
    - We are working on implementing a quality management system ISO 9001

  • We believe that preserving the environment is the way to maintain a safe life on this planet. Therefore, in any activity we do, we are keen to adhere to the rules of preserving the environment and spread this culture among our employees and our customers,

  • - Ensure emergency procedures to prevent and address accidents affecting the environment and human health
    - Minimize the use and ensure safe handling and storage of chemical and other dangerous substances
    - Reuse paper and find suitable ways for recycling, while reduce usage of plastic bags in company work and use reusable cases instead.
    - Save energy by minimize electricity & fuel use when possible.

Anti-Corruption

  • Due to the negative impact that corruption can have, we are making efforts to prevent corruption and abide by laws within and outside the company by following all laws governing corporate work, respecting the rule of law and working to spread a culture of respect for laws among employees as a fundamental principle of founding for surviving work.

  • - We seek to apply the higher standards of integrity and ethical business conduct in our work
    - We spread the guiding values and commitments among our employees and our clients
    - As agents of many medical device companies, we register these companies and their products with the Syrian Ministry of Health, so that the import process takes place
    in the legal form and to ensure that these devices and materials are suitable for medical use. And all of them comply to DD.
