It’s a pleasure to welcome you to our first United Nations Global Compact Communication on Progress report.
Despite the relentlessness of COVID-19, our commitment to the ten UNGC principles remains as strong as ever. Our operations delivered towards our purpose, contributed to achieve and lived up to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact for responsible business.
The year 2020-21, and COVID-19 in particular, has served as a wake-up call to all of us. It has shown us how vital it is that we understand and respect the larger ecosystems we are part of, how our interaction with nature may affect us all and the need to work collectively to mitigate global challenges. So we have started supporting the United Nations Global Compact and its principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. Research and technological progress are the most effective means of overcoming the challenges facing humanity.
So we ventured into sustainable and renewable solutions thereby contributing towards not only with the vision to increase our bottom line but also keeping in mind the contribution we need to make towards society.
Our venture has resulted in putting our humble contribution towards a resource which is in scarcity or depleting everyday “Water”. Further, technology was the only way to encounter such a scarce resource and what better way then using the nature resource “Air” available in abundant to provide water.
We have now reached to 1000s of people and doing our best to reach to millions in some of the challenging parts of the world.
Along with technology , we have started looking at Women empowerment to focus towards other UNGC principles of equality and human rights. Our focus in coming years to improve standards for human where ever we go to do business.Covid-19 while challenging has put lots of companies and individuals globally to look at each situation with a different perspective, as certain things which were just another tick box approach became a goal and that is the perspective we are approaching our strategy with. Our Goal is to improve lives of human globally, be it through healthcare or providing water or improving labor standards or even environment. We may have not have achieved so much in last one year but we know, we are at the right path and will carry this approach in our DNA for years or even decades to come to make it an organization to work for.
