    I am pleased to confirm that ITAIPU Binacional reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights

  • Evaluación de proveedores de Derechos Humanos. El total de proveedores contratados fueron evaluados a base de criterios relacionados con los Derechos Humanos. Estos criterios provienen de la dimensión social de la Política de Compras sustentables.

  • En cuanto a la seguridad de los trabajadores, la Entidad cuenta con un departamento de Ingeniería de Seguridad y Medicina del Trabajo que realiza evaluaciones y seguimiento constante de las condiciones adecuadas para el desempeño de las tareas de la Usina.

Labour
