    I am pleased to confirm that the Motip Dupli Group reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights

Labour

  • The Motip Dupli Group complies with the UNGC Principles on Labour and Workers Rights.

    As a Seveso III company Motip Dupli Group is to offer its employees a safe working environment. Safety therefore is the main focus in all oour activities.
    Since many years the Workers Council as a representative of employees is a recognised negatioting partner for the management on all relevant topics.

    Suppliers are asked to commit themselves to our Code of Conduct on the UNGC Labour principles.

  • Description of concrete actions taken by the company to implement labour policies, address labour risks and respond to labour violations.

  • Assuring a safe working environment for our employees is considered the most important challenge. This means that a lot of effort is put in analyzing and investigating all kinds of risks or hazards. This is done by using standardized techniques and monitoring methods. Also governmental and third party inspections and audits contribute to maintain safety at the highest possible level.

    In the reporting period Motip Dupli Group has been certified for ISO45001. This was accomplished with strong input of our employees to determine the possible risks.
    Also a management program has started to define the core values of Motip Dupli Group; part of this program is a reevaluation of employee particiption in the company policies and actvities.

  • Inspections, external and internal audits have proven to be good monitoring tools for labour and asafety issues. Findings are evaluated and in most cases put into practice. A system of Critical Performance Indicators is in place to timely monitor deviations from our goaals or standards.

Environment

  • The environmental policy of the Motip Dupli Group is described in our Environmental Policy document.
    In this area Motip Dupli Group is compliant with severe Dutch legislation and inspection. Also we consider ISO14001 certification as a (minimum) standard on environmental issues.

  • Implementation of our environmental policy has many faces such as:
    - training of employees to minimize environmental risks
    - searching for less polluting raw materials and substances
    - energy saving techniques and methods and monitoring energy usage
    - transition to green energy supplier
    - First Time Right approach in production
    - reducing emissions and waste

  • In the reporting period there has been no significant environmental incidents.

Anti-Corruption

  • Untill now Motip Dupli Group has not documented a specific AC/AB policy.
    Having no experience with this issue we have prioritized other issues so far.

    However, a management program on CSR has started, which also includes Business Ethics. The outcome of this program will be reported in our next CoP.
