    To our stakeholders:

    I am pleased to confirm that Nabrawind reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • • Nabrawind has developed an Equality Plan that includes, among others, a detailed guide to avoid sexual harassment within the company.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • We have also taken part among other companies in an activity developed by the ONG Vicente Ferrer. Thanks to it, we have provided the economic resources to build several houses for nine families in Aravakur, in a small village in India.
    Finally, we have collaborated with the ONG Alboan in a campaign of clothes recovery.

  • We have developed a KPIs system for the equality plan, with several subjects to be undertaken in the following three years.

    Regarding the Vicente Ferrer project, the ONG report to us periodically with the main advancements of the projects.

    For the ONG Alboan, we just had a meeting in order to evaluate the project and to identify new projects for the future.

Labour

  • • The Equality Plan developed by Nabrawind also includes a procedure to offer equal opportunities to all workers, regardless of gender.
    • Nabrawind has developed during 2020 a NBW Team Development Plan. Through this detailed analysis, Nabrawind will implement an individualized plan for each worker of the company in order to offer them specific formation.

  • Regarding the equality plan, some inputs have been identified and, consequently, we are monitoring them in order to solve them.
    For the development plan, we are now developing a plan with the specific formation for our team after identifying the needs of each employee.

Environment

  • Nabrawind is developing since mid 2020 a tool to determine the CO2 savings coming from the manufacturing and installation of the Nabralift towers. Preliminary Analysis points out a 60%-80% savings.

    Nabrawind is no longer using plastic in the office. All glasses, dishes, spoons and different materials in the office are 100% recyclable.

  • Preliminary Analysis indicates a remarkable CO2 emission reduction during the installation thanks to, among other, the limited amount of concrete needed for the foundation of the tower Nabralift.

Anti-Corruption
