I am pleased to confirm that Badia Al Sahra Agricultural LLC reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment, and Anti-Corruption.
In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture, and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

At Badia Farms, we have an open-door policy. Any employee is welcome to come and see any of the management team to raise their issues. We are a family, so we discuss and always find a solution in every challenge we face. Working with a multi-national team, we appreciate our differences and cultures.

UAE Labour Law is our basic guide to all labour policies. The employee’s contracts and policies are also following the same guides.
We monitor closely the health and safety risks and continue to review to improve our working quality.
We thrive towards diversity in demographics and value the employee’s ability to contribute to our success.

Health and Safety procedures are being monitored very closely.
All employees who are in contact directly with the production line are attending an annual medical test to comply with Dubai Municipality hygiene regulations.

We are treating all of the employees respectfully and equally regardless of their gender, ethnicity, age, etc.
We have 100% compliance with the UAE Labour Law. It is important to follow the basic regulation to avoid violations.

Our target is working on zero waste on our productions by drying all the overgrown microgreens, reusing the plastic punnets, and using the recycling water for our irrigation system. We are committed not to use any pesticides or any chemicals to grow our green products.

- Raise awareness among the consumers about how we are committed to using no pesticides.
- We are currently recycling the water we use for irrigation systems. This way, we are saving water consumption.

The team is diligently monitoring the production line to ensure that we are in compliance. They are also actively inventing new ways to improve and increase productivity and efficiency, at the same time to stay environmentally friendly.

We trust our employees’ integrity and honesty. Badia Al Sahra Agricuture LLC had not been involved in any case related to any corruption or bribery. Any such behavior is extremely intolerable and serious action will be taken against it.
