I am pleased to confirm that Juhayna reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

We have Anti-Harassment and Equal Opportunity Policy to acquaint the employees with what is fair treatment and what is considered under bullying and harassment. It also encourages and informs them of the procedures of how to deal with such situation, if it ever arises. Such Policy, among other policies, are refreshed in the employees’ minds through Focus Groups that the HR conduct with the employees on a regular basis.

As an Egyptian Company, we are bound by the annual Social Insurance Regulations regarding the minimum wage.
We are also bound by the Egyptian Labour Law, which stipulates the minimum rights employees, child and women Labor.

- we conduct salary surveys regularly to ensure that our payment is competitive, not just above the minimum wage stated by the government.
- Our performance management system is both objective and competence based, so it can ensure fair and objective assessment. All Employee related-decisions are mostly based on this performance System. Then, they are also subject to HR interviewing and/or auditing to ensure the employee receive the fair treatment as stated in company policies.
