    I am pleased to confirm that Cambodian Mangoes Farms reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals

    - management collectively discusses human rights and what improvements can be made in our organization

    - toilet facilities are provided with washing areas to maintain and promote good hygienic standards
    - a separate women's toilet and change room has been constructed on the farm to provide a safe comfortable environment for our female workers

Labour

    - workers health is concerning as proper nutrition in a daily meal plan is non-existent in the Kingdom

    - we provide three meals per day to ensure proper nutrition for our workers
    - we comply with all Cambodian labour laws

Environment

  • - we wanted to eliminate diesel generators and the pollution from operating our administration and sleeping quarters
    - a reduction in chemicals on the farm is a priority to ensure our local environments are sustainable and healthy

  • - we are implementing best farming practices and eliminating the use of harmful chemical fertilizers and pesticides as we work towards being certified as organic
    - our farm is power by solar panel meaning that we are 100% off-grid
    - we ensure that the proper disposal of agriculture and personal waste to eliminate contamination of the local environment

Anti-Corruption

    - searched for an effective payment platform to properly document payments throughout operations

  • - we have signed an MOU with the National Anti-Corruption Unit to commit to conduct business without any form of corruption
    - by using mobile payment platforms we are working towards eliminating cash payments so that we can provide full transparency for our operations
