To our Stakeholders,
Al Ajmi Engineering Consultants’, hereby reconfirms, as in previous years, its commitment
towards the UN’s Global Compact initiative and its continued intent to embrace and act
on the UN’s Global Compact “10 Principles” in the areas of Human Rights, Labour,
Environment and Anti-Corruption.In this fourth annual Communication on Progress, we express and demonstrate how we acted upon our promises during the previous COP.
As always, we bind ourselves to explore new ways of achieving new goals and continually share this information with all our stakeholders.

- Human Rights

We consider the United Nation's Declaration of Human Rights as a standard of accomplishment at AEC. Likewise, such rights remain maintained in our organization at all levels.

As evidence of our dedication in upholding the Human Rights arrangements as enunciated in the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, we have acted upon and committed ourselves to the new policies implemented in AEC.

To guarantee that nobody in our organization violates any of the human rights strategies, we continue altering our strict program of observation, which is part of our ISO Certification, henceforth, that enables any data or activity to undergo various levels of the organization for endorsement from its applicable senior. This helps in uncovering any infringement at that level once done.

At AEC we were and still are sharp in giving all workers their rights without bias, paying little heed to ones' experience.

As evidence of our sense of duty regarding giving legitimate labour rights, the policy regarding Labor rights remains in effect and upheld in our company.

The way our operations work, particularly in the wake of putting methods beforehand for ISO Certification, any violation would be exposed easily.
Any violation of any rights and policies would be managed instantly following examining the occurrence.

The Environmental Policy in AEC is one of the most policies acted upon as it is upheld in all our endeavors across all business units, from the company services down to the business operations.

Besides the policies implemented, we continue to push all project stakeholders to transition to paperless technologies for operation purposes. Additionally, the product selections we make in Client projects all comply to the highest green building standards.

As for coping and mitigating risks, policies of stakeholders are reviewed to ensure full compliance to our standards. All comments on submittals should be revised as per our comments and input.

Anti-corruption is one of the primary issues we generally endeavor to keep an eye on in our organization. The positive feedback we get in the market is the thing that separates us from our competition.

The anti-corruption policies implemented by AEC regarding bribery, perjury and all other forms of corruption possible in our
