    Dear Global Compact:
It has been my greatest pleasure on behalf of Ocean Emerald Pearl Ltd., to be a part of this exciting movement of Global Compact on maintaining the most valuable Ten Principles of every company in this world should follow. First of all, let me express that Myanmar as an emerging Democracy country faces enormous challenges to follow the principles especially in anti-corruption and Labour area as well as in Environmental issues. However, as the county shifts itself to a Market economy we are quickly changing our old practices to allow the new era to flourish with dignity. As an independently owned and operated company like OEPG we have been able to maintain our operations with minimal challenges in those areas. We; however, strongly believed that achieving these goals can be attainable as a Nation by setting our company goals higher so that other companies will follow us in the future.

    Sincerely,
    Hla Soe Naing
    Director, OEPG
