    I am pleased to confirm that Soliman, Hashish & Partners reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • As a part of our commitment to the UNGC, our firm requires, as a part of our engagement agreement, our clients to adhere to the UNGC principles. Furthermore, our law firm contributed/continue to contribute to a number of the World Bank's projects assessing Human Rights related risks, such as Women, Business and the Law.

  • We always make sure that our legal advice to the clients covers all principles related to Human Rights. We are all equal at the firm starting from the partners until the associates and all admin staff sharing the value of each one at the firm and that's why we always arrange for team meetings involving all members of the firm to exchange ideas and any issues that might raise any concerns related to Human Rights.

Labour

  • In general, our firm's business, as a law firm, always advise the clients on how to comply with the regulations and policies that are applicable in Egypt including, inter alia, ILO Core Conventions.
