    I am pleased to confirm that FKO Corporate Services Sdn Bhd ("FKO") reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our partners, business associates and stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • FKO unequivocally supports the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in its entirety.
    FKO endeavors to respect Human Rights and prevent potential abuses via ethical and responsible business practices
    All partners, business associates and vendors are urged to adhere to the Global Compact principles on Human Rights
    FKO endeavors to enhance awareness of salient Human Rights issues through training programs

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • FKO will facilitate in-house and external training programs and/or courses to enhance awareness of salient Human Rights issues

Environment

  • FKO is in strict adherence in respect of:
    1) non-smoking zones for its entire business practices
    2) energy saving measures including minimal use of air-conditioners, lighting and electrical appliances
    3) frequent use of recycle paper only
    4) enhanced use of electronic data storage to minimize the use of hardcopies

  • All measures taken to safeguard the environment are set-out in FKO's policy manual

Anti-Corruption

  • FKO practices good governance, integrity and whistle blowers are encouraged and safe-guarded
    FKO being corporate secretaries, as defined by the Malaysian Companies Act 1965, has a statutory responsibility to notify the Central Bank and other regulatory bodies of any transactions that maybe of a fraudulent or of a corrupt nature.
