    I am pleased to confirm that Shanxi Jinshang Energy Asset Management Co., Ltd. reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights

  • We respect the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In particular, we strive to improve standards of living according to Article 25.

  • Our Human RIghts record thus far, as reviewed by the management team, has been entirely satisfactory. Due to our company philosophy of care and respect for fellow human beings a Human Rights violation incident has yet to occur.

Labour

  • In accordance with the International Labour Organization Core Principles, neither our company nor our key business partners make use of forced or child labour, or discriminate among employees. We provide our employees with a high standard of remuneration to ensure they are fairly compensated for their work.

  • Our company maintains close ties between the management and employees, the local population and local government to ensure that labour rights are upheld.

Environment

  • Our company provides a positive lasting impact on the environment via upgrading of current electricity facilities and the development of renewable energy in Yalop, thus improving air quality, energy security, and energy production productivity. Our goal is to increase awareness of energy poverty issues in the community over the next 8 years.

  • Positive environmental impact is incorporated into our company's mission. Our upgrading of current electricity facilities greatly improve their energy efficiency, and we actively develop renewable energy technologies.

  • We collaborate with a specialized institution to ensure we reach our environmental goals.

Anti-Corruption
