    I fully confirm that our company, SYG,S.A, reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we assure you that we fully agree the Global Compact principles and inform you that they have been and are into our business strategy, culture and daily operations.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals

  • in our local company and at our company level, we respect and integrate people of different cultures, nations and traditions. We all have the same rights and duties and we do not apply any difference because of sex, religion, nation, color, language, political option, etc. etc. No one abuse is acceptable.

  • We have implemented a Procedure of Actuations in matters of harassment and violence at work. We have a Company Committee who, with our General Managers, takes care of the right respect of this Procedure.

  • According to the previous point, we make a periodic review of results by Senior Management and our External Consultants. We have even developed a System of "Agreements in differences"

Labour

  • We have well known policies of employee rights and responsibilities, with a written "Statutes of Workers" which are signed both by the Company Representatives and Workers Committee. Even internally, all workers know their duties and rights, related to their labour related risks and, rights and procedures of actuation.

Anti-Corruption

  • SYG, S.A. does not accept any corruption of any employee or procedure. This is internally and externally well known along our 50years of history. No one new goal is to be implemented as this policy is in our aim

  • The system provides and assures that no one employee can due alone a duty from the very beginning till the end. That means that the "complete work chains" have to be implemented, at less, by three co-workers. So, the internal control of any possible corruption is self-controlled
