I am pleased to confirm that Longitude 174 Limited reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

- Human Rights

Our goal this year is to create a company charter that sets out our support of the UNGC principles. We envisage that this charter would form a critical part of our engagement process when taking on new work and clients.

We are currently undergoing a change in structure to move from a group of associates to a consortium of subject matter experts, working together and responding to work requests collaboratively online. We are about to enter an extensive consultation period to ensure that the voice of each of the associates is heard.
- Labour

Most of our work is completed by associates working as contractors rather than part time staff. The contract that we use has been reviewed by a legal advisor and by a representative from our Department of Labour, to ensure that lays down fair and reasonable expectations.

We are building collaborative tools to ensure better communication between our associates.

We are fortunate to have not had any labour issues that haven't been able to be resolved through discussion.

We plan our work to minimise our travel, though we see great value in face-to-face meetings.

We seek to engage with clients who have a similar ethics based culture - our charter will help us to establish this more formally.
