Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • KXS International LLC is most committed to the Human rights of Mankind. Being a minority owned business we know very well of the abuse of men and women from our fore fathers and mothers. Ensuring that our personnel are treated with the upmost respect is our strongest commitment of all. KXS International LLC has ZERO tolerance for mistreatment of employees, and an even greater lack of tolerance for supervisors and managers that engage in such behavior. Men and women leave their homes and travel throughout the world in order to provide for their families and/or in search for a better life for their love ones. They should all be treated with kindness and respect. KXS International LLC will tolerate no less.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • KXS Policies are concrete. All KXS employees understand the "Open Door Policy" and that they can approach the senior management and owner of the company at free will. Every complaint and/or suggestion is carefully evaluated and responded to within a timely manner and without the concern of being reprimanded for voicing a concern of complaint. Our employees are questioned every morning at their meetings before the day starts whether they have any issues or concerns. There are procedures within the KXS organization that must be followed when an incident occurs. Have we perfected the process, no! But we are committed to ensuring that our employees are treated fairly, provided with all of their needs in order to perform their duties free of the mental stress of how they are being treated.

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates performance.

  • We monitor and evaluate the performance of our sites simply by opening the doors for personnel to speak and be heard. They can approach Senior Management at the jobsites, or email me at any time. We ensure that our personnel have a ways of communicating both with their families back home and also the ability to contact senior management at any time. Our managers are trained and coached to ensure that they are treating our personnel properly and supporting Human Rights, and have the abilities to evaluate possible situations that may be at hand within their chain of command.

  • KXS International LLC is currently in the process updating our company policies to uphold the freedom of association and collective bargaining and the elimination of forced labor, child labor and employment discrimination. As we grow we begin to see and understand how important it is to have these policies and procedures in every element. KXS does not engage in forced labor, child labor or employee discrimination and we have taken a stand to not partner with contractors or sub-contractors that engage in such a manner. Neither do we affiliate ourselves with companies that do these things and/or turn a blind eye to the sub-contractors that does such things. We ensure that we do perform an assessment prior to engaging ourselves with sub-contractors. If we turn a blind eye to those that engage in such events then we are as responsible as they that are performing the acts.

Our labor principles will be posted and taught to ensure it is understood very clearly.
Health and safety is critical to KXS. We purchase all safety products to ensure that our personnel are provided with equipment that is adequate to the type of job they are performing.
In some countries we are provided a government approved chart that ensures comparable pay for comparable work. We as a company use these charts in a combined sense in order to provide comparable pay for comparable work within the countries that are not providing such information. With this we can ensure that our personnel are being paid their fair due as well as being able to properly bid a job so that we can ensure that our personnel will be offered a fair salary for the job to be performed.
