    Once again at Ocean Emerald Pearl Group Ltd., we strive to be a part of UN Global Compact initiative and proud to be a partner for the 4th year. One of our 2015 missions is to continue respect and promote Environmental sustainability throughout our organization and with our business partners. Thanks to our UN local representatives we have had a better participation last year in many activities; meetings, presentations and education programs.
    OEPG’s next major mile stone is to educate our local companies who lacks the knowledge and technology so they are aware of the global issues relating to their business.

    We are constantly reviewing our company policy to maintain this goal 100%. Human rights abuse is zero tolerance at OEPG. We are in compliance with both local and international human rights laws and are bound by Buddhist principles as well.

  • Due to current technological limitations in placed by Myanmar municipal authorities in areas such as waste disposal and processing methods, we are not able to succeed as much as we would like to in this area but our nature of daily business operations are very minimal or none impact to the environment around us.

  • Our principle is to reuse and recycle whenever possible. We have just opened our energy efficient office building and conserving our electricity consumption and carbon footprint.

Anti-Corruption

  • We encourage our employees to avoid any sort of bribery and collusion with government and non-government agencies when we are transacting business. However; it’s a losing battle when we are dealing with government employees and alike due to underpaid employees.
