    Natraj Moulds supports the ten principles of the Global Compact with respect to human rights, labor standards, protection of environment and anti-corruption and we are committed to advance those principles within our company.

    We are today happy to confirm our continued support for the Global Compact and renew our ongoing commitment to the initiative and its principles. Practical actions taken by us in the last year are summarized in our Communication on Progress. In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • ● Natraj Moulds actively supports the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We will not carry out business with any countries or regimes where flagrant human rights abuses are known e.g. torture, politically motivated disappearances, danger to security of our people etc.
    ● Natraj Moulds is committed to Dignity at Work and ensures that all our employees are treated fairly and with respect.
    ● We will work with our significant supply chain partners to see if they are signatories to the Global Compact and if they are not, to actively encourage them to support and join the Compact.
    ● Our goal is to maintain the zero abuse record we have until now.

  • Implementation

  • ● Natraj Moulds offers mediation to staff at work as a first stage resolution to any problems experienced in the work place.

  • In the past year, Natraj Moulds has not been subject to any investigations, legal cases or incidents involving Human Rights violations. We continuously monitor, evaluate and revise our performance with regards to Human Rights violations.

Labour

  • ● Natraj Moulds recognizes the importance to provide an organizational culture based on respect and trust. As a result, the Company benefits in terms of productivity and growth.
    ● Within the coming year, Natraj Moulds aims to foster a greater sense of ownership within the organization to its employees.
    ● Natraj Moulds understands the Labour/ Employment Law risks and will not do business with any organisation who uses forced or child labour.

  • Implementation

  • Natraj Moulds is committed to Labour principles in line with the UN Global Compact Principles. Specific procedures which are being followed are the internal grievance mechanisms (for employees) and an in house counseling procedure, if required by an employee.

    As our employees are our most important asset, we invest in our employees by providing on- the-job training and offering them opportunities to participate in training activities. The training is given with a primary objective of reducing Labour Risks during work.

  • ● Natraj Moulds has received no grievances or complaints from employees or others in relation to (potential) labor rights violations, nor was the organization involved in any labor rights incidences before or during the reporting period.
    ● Because of the scope of our activities and the limited number of employees, an external audit on labor rights performance is not required.

Environment

  • Natraj Moulds is committed to reduce the negative impacts of our organizations’ actions on the environment. We strive for the conservation of natural resources, decrease in emissions of pollutants & environmental hazards and encourage conditions of a safe working environment. The aim is to continuously improve the environmental performance of the organization

  • Description of concrete actions to implement environmental policies, address environmental risks and respond to environmental incidents.

  • Natraj Moulds strives to give priority to use environment friendly material goods and office supplies whenever an environment friendly option is available. Examples of how Natraj Moulds reduces the negative environmental impacts: Waste is prevented through usage of scrapped one sided printed papers for office printing wherever possible. Paper, water and energy is saved through raising the awareness of the employees. Furthermore, the organization stimulates the use of public transport and/or bicycles.

  • The environmental performance is measured during the internal monitoring efforts and audits. The results are communicated and when necessary awareness programs for employees are initiated.

Anti-Corruption

  • ● Natraj Moulds is based India and faces a higher risks of corruption and bribery than in developed countries.
    ● In case staff is confronted to situations where corruption and bribery are likely to take place, they are provided guidance on how to react and report this type of violation.

  • The selection of business partners and opportunities is done through the approval of our customers. It is based on transparency and fairness, as to encourage market competitiveness and avoid corruption. Additionally, we have setup an automatic email system wherein any email correspondence which goes externally on behalf of the company gets automatically cc’ed to the senior management. Because of this automatic email system, the employees’ work and responsibilities can be tracked, allowing senior management to closely monitor projects and the way business is conducted with external parties.

  • As a result of the Company’s commitment, all employees are made aware of consequences related to corruption and bribery violations. Senior management ensures that junior and mid level employees are not put in situations where they can prove guilty or victim of such violations. On a case to case basis, the Company’s protocol provides guidance on how to react and report this type of violation, in case staff is confronted to situations where corruption and bribery are likely to take place.
