  • Dear Stakeholders,
    I am pleased to confirm that TRANSPROJETS SAS reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
    In this our first annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to integrate the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We are also committed to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication

Human Rights

    Protection of Human Rights has always been one of the main concerns of Transprojets SAS and has become fully integrated to our Chart and to our Code of Ethics.
    Code of Ethics has been signed by all our employees, which are fully aware and share these values of human right principles.
    Our code of Ethics is also shared with our suppliers and of course our customers. All our business partners, agents and representatives have to share our principles.
    Our subsidiary in Nigeria also signed this chart and has implemented it in their process.

    All the parties involved (employees, partners, suppliers, customers…) can report potential claims to our Quality Manager and/or any branch manager/director of Transprojets.

    We also check on a regular basis with our representatives if any claim has been registered.

    No claim regarding Human Rights was reported in the period covered by the COP, meaning that our tools to implement Human Rights in the values of Transprojets have been useful and dully understood by our teams.

Labour

    Protection of internationally recognized principles including Labor Standards is expressly part of our Code of Ethics and HSE policy, which is accessible to all employees in France and in Nigeria.
    The code of ethics is also systematically sent to our customers when responding to call for tenders, to express our Labor Standards.
    We also issued in the company of documents recapitulating all the eventual risks concerned by our activity. In our warehouse, all the employees have security shoes, protection glasses and gloves to ensure they will not be injured.
    One of our policies is to achieve a zero percent accident rate for all the company and our partners.

  • We ensure that our employees and partners work in a safe atmosphere and zero risk conditions.
    Employees have adapted tools related to their activity and work during legal hours in accordance with French legislation.
    Transprojets values good labor relations and ensure that a continuous communication with employee representatives exists. Communication really is the key word and we try to ensure that everybody works comfortably and in the best conditions.

Environment

    Protection of internationally recognized principles including Environment s is expressly part of our Code of Ethics and HSE policy, which is accessible to all employees in France and in Nigeria.
    Transprojets ensures sustainability in the management of all its activities and is committed to minimize its impact on the environment.
    Environment means something to Transprojets, working in transportation business and being directly involved.
    We try as much as possible to minimize impact on environment by doing consolidations, using barges and rails when possible, and use truck companies that respect environment.

Anti-Corruption

  • Protection of internationally recognized principles including Anti-Corruption is expressly part of our Code of Ethics and HSE policy, which is accessible to all employees in France and in Nigeria. We have a zero tolerance policy for corruption, bribery and extortion. This point is expressly stated in our documentation, which we share with all our clients and suppliers as well.
    It is a natural value at Transprojets, which is shared by all our employees.

  • It is a clear policy that all the businesses that might require bribery are automatically reported to manager and direction and actions are taken to black list the supplier or client in question.
    Corruption, bribery and extortion are considered a brake to economy and development of countries, that is why Transprojets ensures that he will never be involved in such situation of corruption.
