I am pleased to confirm that Bank Log reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Specific progress made in the area of Human Rights in the past reporting period: We had never a problem with human rights in our company;
Information about how the company deals with incidents of Human Rights violations: If we find or discover any human rights violations we will contact the government, police, and the required officer. Also communicate with our legal department.
Investigations, legal cases, rulings, fines and other relevant events related to Human Rights; As the Brazilian and international laws may apply.
External audits of Human Rights performance: As we never had this type of problem yet no need of external audits. As we do respect all international laws. Specially now that our company is the only logistic company that has ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO OHSAS 18001.

Our company policies uphold the freedom of association and collective bargaining and the elimination of forced labour, child labour and employment discrimination;
Our company respect all state employee rights and responsibilities and also pay all their compensation and benefits required by law and also a few more;
We suggest our business partners and suppliers to adhere to the Global Compact Labour principles;
Specific goals in the area of Labour Rights for the upcoming year: To have no law suits against our company. In our 8 eight years of company we never had any problem with labour suits, jobs, worklacement and payments.

How the health and safety of all employees is ensured: We have all the safety equipments and law requirements to ensure our employees protection and health. Also have ISO OHSAS 18001.
How the company prevents discrimination of all kinds and ensures comparable pay for comparable work: We do not have, neither support or allow any types of descrimination in Bank Log. People are free;

Assessment of the environmental footprint and impact of the company; Specially because we respect ISO 14001 requirements as we are the only logistic company in our state with that seal.
Written company policy on environmental issues, including prevention and management of environmental risks: We treat our enviroment as we would like to leave to our grandson in the future: Clean and healthy. We have a very restrict code of conduct and respect all local, national and international laws.
We support and suggest that our business partners and suppliers to adhere to the Global Compact environmental principles
Describe specific goals in the area of environmental protection for the upcoming year: Keep our ISO 14001 seal active as it´s very hard.

Awareness raising and also training of employees on environmental protection;
Initiatives and programmes to reduce waste materials (Main: reduce, recycle and reuse) and consumption of resources (energy in our warehouses with seal A in the air conditioning, fossil fuels in our vehicles with special Diesel S-10 that are cleaner, also use ARLA fuel additive, water saving in our bathroom, electricity saver in all our operations, paper reuse, recycle and also print in both side, packaging with efficiency, etc.)
We have activities aimed to improve energy efficiency of products, services and processes;
Development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies
Raise awareness among suppliers by asking for the environmental footprint of products or services;
Environmental management system to identify, monitor and control the company's environmental performance with ISO 14001;

Our company never had any environmental incidents until now and we hope it keeps that way;
Specific progress made in the area of the environmental protection during the last reporting period would be our ISo 14001 seal and also the brazilian NGO: Instituto Chico Mendes who gave us a special certificate after we got approved in their environmental program.

External audits of environmental performance: YES once a year we have audition in the company.
- Anti-Corruption

Assessment of risk of corruption and bribery in the company’s industry and country(ies) of operation: Brazil is a very hard country and lot´s of companies are having problem with corruption and bribery. We do not have neither accept any of this in our company operations. Unfortunately it´s a very sad problem with my country culture. Hope one day we can change that with our good work and transparent governance;
Yes our company have zero-tolerance for corruption, bribery and extortion!
We support the UN Convention Against Corruption and other national and international instruments.
Protocol to guide staff in situations where they are confronted with extortion or bribery: Contact the police, justice and press immediately.
We sugggest and require our business partners and suppliers to adhere to the Global Compact anti-corruption principles
Specific goals in the area of anti-corruption for the upcoming year: Continue to have ZERo problem in this area.
