    I am pleased to confirm that Wentelon Micro-Motor Co.,Ltd reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • We support the UN Declaration of Human Rights and the international treaties for protecting employee’s rights.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • 1.We respect any and all employees as individuals and treats them fairly depending on their abilities and performance.

    2.We prohibit unfair discrimination for reasons of gender, academic ability, age, nationality, religion, or region of origin to provide equal opportunities of promotion, reward, and training.

  • 1. All employees get a fair chance and are rewarded based on their performance.

    2. An employee who feels discriminated against may ask for help from the Help Center, the labor union.

Labour

  • We respect for diverse cultural backgrounds of employees and female resources and also prohibit child Labor and forced Labor.

  • Implementation

  • 1.We allow employees from diverse cultural and social backgrounds to mutually understand other’s cultures and respect diversity.

    2.We actively hire female talents by creating a female-friendly work environment and prohibit labor by children under 15 years old.

    3.We shall provide employees with opportunities for improving their abilities fairly and not differentiate between them depending on academic background, gender, age, or birthplace.

  • 1.Our company working hours are 8 hours a day and 48 hours a week, without forcing night duty and holiday work. If necessary, we pay overtime work allowance for overtime work performed with prior consent.

    2.We shall establish, inform, and conform to criteria for evaluating the abilities and performance of employees in order to create an environment of fair competition.

    3. We shall establish systems required for employees to make suggestions and to express difficulties freely.

    4.We shall take safety measures required in places of work where there are hazardous or harmful objects.

Environment

  • We have realized the importance about a green working environment and green product.
    We will improve it in a more effective and efficient way by strengthening cooperation with stakeholders and supply chain.

  • 1.We shall increase in demand for green products and establish a green management strategy for strengthen product regulations (REACH, RoHS).

    2.We shall participate in the Green Environment activities and expand green purchasing (governmental contracts, supports for suppliers).

    3.Crop trees and flowers around our factrory, increase the green area to improve the neigborhood air and working environment quality.

  • With eco-freindly and safe workplaces and expand green purchasing, we have conducted resource saving activities and reduced pollutants.

Anti-Corruption

  • We oppose financial crime in all forms and ensure that all of our business is carried out effectively, safely and in line with relevant regulations.

  • Implementation

  • 1. We shall advance anti-corruption work by strengthening institution-building and formulate a provisional means of investigating parties responsible for credit extensions issued against regulations.

    2.We shall stage a year-long campaign to improve the work style, tighten joint supervision, advance integrity inspection for those in risk posts and seriously handle public inquiries.

  • We have offered employees quarterly training programs on combatting corruption and advocating honesty, distributed an informative manual on preventing conflicts of interest and raised employees' awareness of guarding against conflicts of interest.
