In this annual Communication On Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations.

- We do not accept any kind of forced or compulsory labor and we don't use child labor.
- In our company - Jewish, Christians and Moslems , men and women (workers and managers) are working together for many years with no discrimination whatsoever.

-The company's standards and policies are regulary monitored by the personel management, and the supply chain is monitored by the Quality control management.

-Emco Marine is committed to conserve and protect the environment through various efforts in pollution control, managing resources and reducing our carbon footprints.
-Emco Marine' management is committed to making sure that all employees gain environmental responsibility awareness and encourages all personnel to help protect their environment.
-Employees are encouraged to print less. We also changed the policy of the authorities using vouchers with less copies when releasing / accepting containers in our depots.

The environmental performance is measured through setting responsibilities, objectives, operational procedures, training needs, monitoring and communication systems.
All of these factors are taken into consideration during the internal monitoring efforts and audits

Businesses should work against all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery

-All personnel are notified, that Emco Marine's management maintains a zero tolerance policy against all forms of business corruption, whether internal or external.
-Any corruption proven on any employee shall result in swift and direct actions against it.

-Report/Complaints of corruption are dealt with immediately by the Managing Director, Board of Directors and Human Resources department.
-The management discuss annually all the reported corruption cases, and study the outcomes of these reports and whether stringent actions have been taken upon proven cases or not
