I am pleased to confirm that Longitude 174 Limited reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

    Sincerely yours,

  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • Longitude 174 Limited supports the Univesrsal Declaration of Human Rights.

Our goal for the following year is to ensure that our business partners and suppliers understand the Global Compact principles on Human Rights, and our company policy in this area.

  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • We are fortunate to live and work in a country which has a clear understanding of human rights. However, we are finding ourselves dealing with clients who have suppliers overseas where human rights is not a commonly understood foundation for business. We are helping these clients to put together charters - it is an easy way for them to show their belief in human rights and to invite their suppliers to adhere to the same principles.

  • Since our last reporting period we have started to socialise the principles of the UNGC. Any materials we could use to help us with this would be great!
