I am pleased to confirm that Microcast Private Limited reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

- Human Rights
- Assessment, policy and goals

Microcast respects human rights and adheres strictly to the Laws of the Republic of Singapore under the Employment Act and the statutory requirements from the Ministry of Manpower to ensure Workplace Safety and Health and which also encompass Human Rights Protections to all empoyees,

Microcast issue a written Contract of Service to each employee, prior to the commencement of employment and we do have a written Employees' Handbook to serve as an explanatory guide that covers the defination to each individual rights e.g. stipulated work hours/annual leave etc.

Microcast does not have any measurement of outcomes but we are statutory obliged to adhere to the Laws of the Republic of SIngapore. The management of Microcast does a periodic reviews and any changes shall be communicated to each employee and reflected on the Employees' Handbook.
- Labour

All employees of Microcast are issued with a Contract of Service and we have a Employees' Handbook that serves as a guide to each individual employee rights and responsibilities.and which also covers the compensation and benefits.

Each employee of Microcast can refer to the Employees' Handbook for information on labour rights and policies and they can also refer to the Employment Act, under the Laws of Republic of SIngapore.
The management of Microcast performs periodic reviews based on feedback from the Risk Management Team, to ensure Health and Safety are rightfully maintained at workplace.

Microcast performs appraisal for each employee every six months and the results of the appraisal will be reviewed through with the employee by their respective head of department. The appraisal shall be forwarded to the General Manager for his final review on the appraisal.
- Environment

Microcast is statutory obliged to adhere to the Laws of Republic of SIngapore, relating to environmental controls under the Ministry of Environment.

We have in-house policies towards Reduce/Re-Use and Recycle program.
Our 5S team conducts spot check on a monthly basis with environmental protection been part of the check list while the Cross Function Team conducts weekly operational performance reviews and executes action plan to improve the performance in various aspects of operation e.g. efficiency of our machinery.

We monitors the usage of water and electricity consumption on a monthly basis with each head of department to ensure awareness on the need to maintain efficient consumption.
Scrap material are also monitored in relation to total raw material usage.
We are subjected to frequent spot checks by the officers from the Ministry of Environment and of which we have not been subjected to any prosecution from the authorities.
- Anti-Corruption

Microcast supports UN Convention Against Corruption and we will not tolerate any such misconducts/practices relating to corruption,bribery or extortion, whether within or outside our organisation.

We have in-house policies to prevent such acts by ensuring that no single individual is either allowed to make decision on purchasing matters or accepting token of appreciation.

Microcast has not encountered any incidents relating to corruption/bribery and extortion.
We have monthly reviews involving head of department and senior management to review on the past month expenditures, chaired by the Finance Head of Department.
We are statutory obliged to submit our accounting reports to external auditors in line with the Company Act, under the Laws of the Republic of SIngapore.
