On 23 July 2024, the UN Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) hosted its 9th CEO Roundtable, bringing together over 50 senior business leaders under the Chatham House Rule to discuss how to accelerate sustainability goals. While there was a consensus on the urgency of these goals, stark differences arose about the best path forward. The discussions underscored the need to address both climate and societal issues at the same time. Achieving sustainability goals requires collaboration across supply chains, innovative financing and better education on sustainability topics.
