The Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is an annual international summit where world leaders and key stakeholders convene to address and develop solutions to combat climate change.COP30 took place from 10–21 November in Belém, Brazil, marking a critical moment for uniting the world around actionable climate commitments.

This recorded session captures the Academy COP30 Debrief, hosted in partnership with UNFCCC, where senior advisers from across the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Action Team and UNFCCC unpack the key outcomes of COP30.

In this 60 minute session, you will hear insights on the major headlines from COP30 and an overview of global priorities that are relevant for business and crucial for accelerating progress in 2026. The recording also highlights the 5 year plan for the global climate action agenda (GCAA), jointly developed by the COP30 Presidency, Climate High Level Champions and UN Climate Change, launched at COP30 with the intention of aligning non state actors to deliver on the Paris Agreement.
