    To our stakeholders:

    I am pleased to confirm that CSoft Ltd. reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals

  • We provide employees with reduced working capacity with all applicable conditions and the opportunity to develop on an equal footing with others.
    Effective equal opportunities and dealings with all workers, which allows them — without exception — to develop personally and professionally is guaranteed in our appraisal process.
    Any type of occupational discrimination in the areas of access to employment, promotion, professional classification, training, compensation and other working conditions is avoided within our organization.
    Our company maintains working environments that are free of harassment and behavior that is violent or offensive to people's rights and dignity.
    Our employees are always welcome to share their ideas and we stimulate communication.
    We promote equality and do not tolerate any kind of discrimination.
    Donations and volunteer activities organized internally or by external organizations are highly tolerated.

  • We ensure that all employees are aware of our commitment to human rights through various channels, including onboarding process and periodical internal communications.
    Our recruitment, employee development and promotions processes contain only criteria that are related to the assessment of certain professional skills and exclude the intervention of any discriminatory factors.
    Our employees are encouraged to share any suspicions of non-compliance with human rights in internal anonymous surveys.
    We promote the ShareTheMeal charity app by the United Nations World Food Programme among our employees to stimulate them to fight global hunger by easily donating food to children around the globe.
    Our team supports local and small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic dedicating our end of the year charities to them and encouraging others to follow suit via our social media accounts.

    The different genders are equally represented in the company's management.

    In December 2020 our team donated 40 books from local stores to ATD Fourth World to reach socially disadvantaged families.
    CSoft supported a shelter for temporary accomodation of homeless and socially disadvantaged people in Varna, Bulgaria by donating food to their residents at the end of 2020.

Labour

  • As an employer, the company provides appropriate working conditions for its employees. This includes not only competitive remuneration policy but also voluntary benefits and perks.
    Protecting our employees through appropriate occupational health and safety practices is a top priority for us. Further more, we stimulate them to lead a healthy lifestyle.
    CSoft rejects child labour and forced or compulsory labour.
    We believe that learning is a lifelong process and we strive to help our employees and talents outside of our company to develop their professional and personal skills.
    Our employees are always welcome to share their ideas and we stimulate communication.
    We strive to establish mutually benefitial interaction with educational and other organizations, which stimulate a better and sustainable future for the economical world and the society.

  • We provide our employees with additional health insurance.
    Appropriate policies regarding the COVID-19 pandemic have been established to ensure the health and safety of our employees.
    Our employees are periodically involved in different trainings to improve their professional and personal skills.
    A work from home policy has been established within the company where applicable.
    We provide assistance to all our employees who are been quarantined or have any health issues.
    We conduct annual anonymous employee satisfaction surveys.
    Our regular internship programs have been organized online in order to provide access to them for students from different settlements without endangering both their own and the health of our employees.
    Additional office space has been arranged to ensure the convenience of our employees and to provide social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
    We provide our employees with gym membership cards to stimulate their active way of living.
    We participated in the annual Sneakers Day initiative. On 26 of March we appealed to all employees to wear sneakers and to participate in several sports competitions held remotely in order to stimulate an active lifestyle whether at the office or while working from home.
    Our human resources expert is available for regular online meetings with all of our employees to ensure their convenience and mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • All our employees are informed about our labour policies.
    Our additional health insurance partner’s report shows that the need for medical support within the company has decreased in the past 12 months. It proves the better health of our employees.
    We organized two online internship programs for bachelor students with no professional experience and have offered permanent positions at CSoft to 50% of the interns.
    Over the past months our employees have been involved in SQL Performance Tuning and Optimisation course, in a productivity training etc.
    Internal statistics show high employee satisfaction and low turnover.
    None of our employees has reported non-compliance with the labour policies within our company.

Environment

  • We do steps to reduce the use of materials that exploit or harm nature and to proper treatment of waste on a daily basis.
    Proactive protection of the environment including participation in internally or externally organizied initiatives will keep being our environmental goal.
    Minimising our environmental impact and deliver community benefits through better selection and improved usage of products and services is our aspiration.
    We educate our employees about good practices in the interaction with nature.
    When applicable we share our vision for sustainable environment with our partners and the society in order to engage more people in our causes.

  • A policy for separate waste collection at the office has been established.
    Our employees were educated about the importance of trees through an educational brochure.
    We added QR codes to our business cards to reduce the use of cardboard to make business cards that are distributed to many people.
    Our employees’ photo with a healthy planet frame marked the United Nations Day on 24th of October and has been promoted via our social media accounts to stimulate others to take care of the environment.

  • We donated 18 kilograms of plastic caps collected by our employees for recycling for charity within 12 months.
    In order to improve the urban environment we planted 10 white birch trees in November 2020.
    Less business cards have been ordered by our company within 12 months.
    Our employees are aware of our environmental responsibility and actively share ideas for further developing it in the future.

Anti-Corruption
