    To our stakeholders:

    I am pleased to confirm that KING'S Group of Education reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • The issues on Human Rights have been part of our Vision and Mission. The company was established in 1981 starting from an English Tuition and was the first English tuition that do concern to promote Human Rights among the company.

    We have to make sure that everyone in this company has contribution to the sucess of company target achievment with no any discrimination. We ensure that there is no employee in the work place under intimidation and threaten in expressing their ideas.

  • * KING'S Group of Education encourage and involve every one at the company to do Voluntary work within the community.
    * KING'S Group of Education introduce and protect everyone at the company through National Insurance
    * KING'S Group of Education provide Basic Education facility to staff who have been establishing their career for more than 5 year.
    * KING'S Group of Education provide accommodation for all staffs who is not originally from Jabodetabek
    * KING'S Group of Education provide breakfast, lunch & dinner

  • * By doing voluntary work, it does enhance our staff to have more social skill. As part of the example, we involve everyone at our own Museum, Museum Benteng Heritage, Tangerang.
    * Having everyone covered on BPJS, it does increase their welfare.
    * Basic Education facility to their children not only to increase their welfare but to give them more opportunities to experience a well education.
    * An accommodation that we provide, give them not only a decent place to live but also a piece of mind.
    * Our staffs enjoy healthy food everyday.

Labour

  • * King’s Group does not discriminate on the basis of gender with regards to recruitment and employment, nor do we discriminate based on faith, ethnic or political association
    * We do strongly committed against child labor

  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates performance.

  • * To improve the employee skill and ability, we continue to give them a regular training. Employee are allowed to take a Personal Development Program to develop their working ability.
    * We decline job application coming from a child, yet we advise them to go back to school.

Environment

  • * Encourage everyone to use public transport to reduce gas consumption and traffic.
    * We limit the usage of paper and encourage everyone to use recycle paper
    * Reducing the usage of Air conditioning in our buildings

  • * They managed to save more on their income by using public transportation.
    * Everyone getting more aware of environmentally friendly practice

Anti-Corruption

    * We signed Anti Bribery Act issued by our business partners (UK Universities)
