I am pleased to confirm that Carroll Properties Corporation reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Carroll Properties is committed to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as defined by the UN Global Compact.
Our company is focused on supporting business and industry select sites for expansion of their operations. We focus on sites that protect human rights.
As an Industry Expert to the Working Group on ISO 26000 we discuss options for companies to contribute to their new communities.
As a Woman Owned Business we affirm the rights of women to equal participation in business opportunities.
We support the local workforce training for the blind, deaf and multi-handicapped and encourage corporate clients to participate.
We encourage respect for indigenous people and align our company with responsible Human Rights Organizations.

Since we operate in a Right to Work State it is challenging to speak out on these issues. We choose to guide clients into positive leadership and open communication with employees and customers.

Our interactions are focused on delivering services that incorporate diversity as we function in a very diverse population base and we are focused on Foreign Direct Investment.

We were present in Paris for Climate talks and continue to promote responsible operations for the clients we advise. I have personally written a children's book about the Loggerhead Sea Turtle that shares the environmental teachings of UNGC into the story.
We wrote an managed South Carolina's first US EPA Brownfield Pilot and have stayed involved in this process.
All properties transferred are encouraged to conduct an environmental audit.
I am writing a book as a follow up from Paris on the impact on Wine of Climate, Migration, Religion and Diplomacy, sharing the story as research is conducted.

We recycle, maintain HVAC equipment, manage water use and plastic disposal
We advise clients to incorporate energy efficiency into their process by defining for them what we call the GREEN RATE OF RETURN (The point at which their capital and operating budget lines cross)
As am Member of the UNECE Real Estate Market Advisory Group I was a collaborator on the newly published "Framework for Sustainable Development"

As Real Estate can be on the front line for money laundering we are aware and sensitive to the sources of funds for acquisitions.
We have a policy of not paying kick backs or accepting funds for delivering requested results.
We are clearly supportive of the UN Convention Against Corruption and require all business partners to comply
We will continue our diligence on monitoring financial activities.
